  • Eastern Creek goes off in April for FUSION

    The April Eastern Creek Raceway event by FUSION was the second biggest of its kind, with over 100 entrants in the Show & Shine and at least as many in the Sound-Off. Over 1000 spectators took to the stands, which was no small feat, considering the weather on the night. Fans on the night got to witness some of the countries loudest cars, hottest street machines and the best of drifting that Sydney has to offer.

    Darren Morgan, Owner and Driver of Darren Morgan Racing and the 2005 and 2011 Top Fuel Champion of the ANDRA Pro Series Drag Racing Circuit, has a bit of green running through his engine. After taking out the 2010 and 2011 ANDRA Pro Series Top Fuel Championship, the team has one mission in mind for 2012: to keep the Top Fuel #1 lettering on their 2000 pound projectile.

    Hailed as “Australia’s biggest horse power party”, the annual Summernats Car Festival took place again this year on the 6th – 9th of January in Canberra. For the fourth consecutive year, FUSION were there - this time with our mates from Extreme Car Audio in Blacktown. Over 85,000 people packed into Exhibition Park during the three day event and Glen Lensink, National Sales Manager for FUSION Australia confirmed that it was the biggest crowd he had ever seen there.

    2012’s International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) was the largest in the events 44-year history, with over 150,000 people descending on Las Vegas for the event. A record number of exhibitors (3,100) were spaced over 1.861 million square feet - and FUSION was packed in there with the best of them.

    Over 400 vehicles were in attendance at the second annual New Zealand Performance Car Hard Park, which was held at Hooton’s Reserve in Albany. It was a stark contrast to 12 months earlier, with cars looking more aggressive and tough; people’s tastes have taken a dramatic upswing. It was a great opportunity to show off your pride and joy to the masses, check out other modified vehicles and enjoy a day in the sun. There was Redbull, Mr Whippy and FUSION aliens – what more could you ask for!
